Data not working

I just purchased a 2GB prepaid sim, however the data doesn't seem to be working on my mobile? Please assist.

Strange that the data is not working on your phone! I would like to help you further with this.
What kind of phone do you have?  Did you activate the simcard? Is mobile data and 4G turned on?
