Hello @DenisF ,

Welcome to the Vodafone community! The answer to your question is, yes ! All you need to do is insert the simcard in your mobile device and make sure your netwerk connectivity is set on 2G. You can find this setting at Mobile Network.

I hope that your question has been answered.

Kind regards,

Thanks a lot for this!

Do you need to have a bundle to use 2G traffic or just a positive balance on the account? Since 2G is used for really low traffic devices (like children GPS trackers) there is little sense in buying gigs of monthly data.

Cheers

Hi @DenisF ,

If you're using Prepaid you will just need a postive balance to be able to use the 2G network. Make sure it's on 2G, other networks like 4G can quickly drain the balance on the simcard.

Indeed a lot of small devices are still using 2G technology, even in 2020 :).
