I am a new customer and i subscribed to the 20gb phone Subscription. 
one day ago i got an sms saying that my Data volume already reached 80€. 
i immediately changed my subscription to unlimited but i still don’t agree that i need to pay over 80€ on my next bill. 
why did my data volume not get blocked when it reached the 20gb? 
and how is it possible to reach 80€ so fast? 
i use Vodafone from Portugal 45 gb lasts me

nearly a whole month. 

please review the Costs os data implemented to me.

Good morning. I do not work for Vodafone but I would like to provide you with some standard information, so that the people at Vodafone can look with you.

It is normal that you now have to pay 80 euros because you have exceeded your usage. I would almost say, be happy that you received a notification because otherwise your bill would increase even more. If you do not want to exceed your 20GB, you must activate BloX Unlimited Internet, then you will not get a high bill but your speed will be reduced. For this information, read the BloX Unlimited Internet page of Vodafone.

It is understandable that you do not agree with it. But you will actually have incurred these costs and if you have incurred costs then you also have to pay, no matter how annoying it is. A wise lesson for next time and a good reason to activate BloX Unlimited Internet.

How it is that you quickly run out of 20GB and also have to pay an extra 80 euros, I have no idea. You have probably used your data bundle a lot and then again. Vodafone can see whether you have actually used a lot of data, but not where you have used it. Usage in other countries can differ, you cannot compare this with the Netherlands. Also pay attention if you are on holiday in Portugal from the Netherlands, because then you will have to deal with Fair Use Policy! (yes, also with Vodafone Unlimited).

This is just a short explanation, as I see it. In the meantime, wait for someone from Vodafone and they will take a look with you. Good luck and I hope that Vodafone will still be willing to help you.
