Cancelation of my contracy

Hello,

I am writing this because I have been trying to reach, for weeks now, Vodafone in relation to cancelling my subscription. However, the number that is provided by your webpage is always unavailable, and I haven't been able to do anything, to discuss it with anyone, and so I ask from here.

Can I have my contract cancelled? I do not wish for it to be renewed for another 2 years, nor a single year, because of personal circumstances. I would like to know what can I do to have it cancelled, and to have confirmation that it won't be renewed, since I have failed to contact you on the phone number provided. My contract ended the 14th of October, and I will not use the sim card afterward the end of the month.

Hi, it's a shame you want to cancel your contract. You can cancel your contract online very easily. You can do this by going to this page. With this form you can cancel a subscription as of the desired date. The Replacement Device Service and Guaranteed Device Insurance will also stop as of that date. With this form you do not stop your device loan. Do you want to pay a device loan in one go? You can do that here.

If you want to switch provider and you want to keep your number, tell your new provider that you want to switch with number retention. The new provider will then cancel your subscription with us. You do not need to fill in the form!

Thank you for your help. I have one doubt. Since it does not let me cancel it in November, will that mean I will have to pay the standard fee that I have been paying monthly, and have the corresponding data bundle of my contract, one more month? Or how does it work? I just want to make sure to not renew my 2 year contract, so I'm looking for any confirmation that that will not happen.

When cancelling, you always have a 1-month notice period. So you can fill this in now and then your contract will expire on 30 November. Yes, you will of course still have to pay for the month of November, that is logical. Only after 30 November, when your contract is free, your subscription will stop. You say that your contract runs until 14 October, then you can cancel every day after 14 October, with a notice period of 1 month.

Thank you for the clarification. However, there is one last problem.

I don't seem to be allowed to be allowed to put it for november the 30th, only december the 1st, however I do not wish to pay for the month of december, and, as you said, a month from today would be 30th of November, not 1st of December. Can you help me with this?

I can't help you with this. This will probably have to do with full months. Then December 1st is of course the next possible day. Of course you don't pay for the month of December, you end your contract on December 1st, then you only pay until December 1st. Just to think about it, it is now October 30th, 1 month notice period is November 30th and then your contract ends on December 1st. Seems like a very logical order to me. But of course you don't pay for the month of December, you only have to pay until November 30th. It is possible that you pay in advance with your monthly subscription, you will then get those costs back.

You will receive these in the month that your subscription ends, or a month later. Your last invoice may include one-off costs, such as a lump sum or a payment for your device. You pay a lump sum if you end the subscription before the end date of your contract. Your last invoice also includes the last subscription and usage costs.

I understand, thank you for the clarification. I already sent the form with the cancellation date of 1st of December, so it should be done. I will just have to wait, and I suppose there are no more steps.

Thank you for your assistance, and I hope you have a great day,

Joaquin
