Forgotten PIN on HTC One M8

I have forgotten my PIN and have tried without luck to do a factory reset. Fast boot is on and the phone continously asks for the PIN code. If I send the phone back to Vodafone, can you reset it or is there another way I can do it from home?

Hi @Davey66,

The phone can ask for different PIN-codes. For example:

• Mobile Protect PIN
  
• The SIM PIN-code. (the PIN-code on the sim card, this can be unlock with your PUK-code.)
  
• Some phones support a PIN-code to unlock the screen (this is different from the SIM PIN-code).

Can you make a screenshot and post it in this topic? Perhaps we can see what exactly is being asked.

Thanks for the reply, problem sorted. It was Mobile protect.
